    Coffee table bench w/ Dovetais

I made a coffee table that rests on a leather bench. You can still put your feet up.... even sit. The wood is paduk and quarter sawn oak. The details are simple, dovetails ,rounded ends, flat top. No finish yet...its way too hot! I think I will use Seal a Cell and ArmR Seal for protection

    table w/ chairs in backround

The sides are 8/4 so sawing was a little more challenging I ended up making 4 chairs

I like it alot Mark. I love that you use QSWO in such contemporary furniture. It does quite well holding it's own with the exotics and I think many of us tend to overlook white oak when thinking in modern design terms.
I could cry for the time I've wasted, but thats a waste of time and tears.

Nice work as usual Mark. Was this idea customer driven or one of yours?

Really nice work on those dovetails, Mark...looking forward to seeing it once you apply the finish.

  8. Looks good... The space in which it resides looks interesting as well.

As a form-meets-function decision, I'd have reversed the pins and tails. How did you decide?

Another fantastic Mark Singer creation. Excellent work Mark.

Yes, it is way too hot here in Southern California for finishing or in my case, even working in my shop.

Mark, your work is always a pleasure to see. Another top notch job, especially on the DTs. Just wondering, who did that incredible turning?

Extremely well done and a very interesting concept IMO as I have never seen anything like that. But... I don't get out often I suppose.

    Again... well done, sir.
