    Inset door measurement

I know this sounds like an easy question, but if the opening for a door is 14 X 22, what are the dimensions for an inset door? I know I should know this but my brain has been on vacation lately and i don't want to waste any more wood on trial and error.

    Thanks

For a framed door, I make it 1/8" less than the opening to leave a 1/16" reveal all around.

1/8" is what I use, unless it is painted, then I'd take another 1/16 off the height/width. Paint builds up in a hurry.

I like a decent size reveal.

Ditto Joe...but with a 2" reveal what type of hinges and stops do you use?
