dust collectors

sears has a wall mount 1 1/2 hp dust collector. catalog says it is good for 1 machine at a time. it is a wall mount unit. i want to use it primarily on my lathe, and my table saw. has a 2 1/2 inch hose. any comments??? thanks

Yeah - 2 1/2" won't generate the airflow and velocity that you need.
