Was having a glass of red when he put the website in

  4. I don't know... I've been reading your articles for some time now (mostly in wkfinetools.com). I think a more appropriate site name would have been, "Regards from Perth"!

But I understand the need for "wood association" (hehe...) in regards to the site title.

In any case, good to see everything all in one place! Good luck with the standard website pains!

    Cheers,

Nice site! You're off to a great start, Derek!

This may open a flood gate of other referrals, but I've found the web design software from the Coffee Cup people - www.coffeecup.com - pretty user friendly and reasonably priced for the amateur web designer. And also for those who want to create a reasonably professional looking site and make a few changes and additions now and then. They have a lifetime free upgrade policy and free [30 day?] trial periods for most if not all of their programs.

The reason your files might be a little large isn't the images, it's the un-optimized code - endless repetitions of <P LANG="en-US" CLASS="western" STYLE="margin-bottom: 0cm"> when all you need is <p>. Removing that, and the css stored in your <head> and referencing an external .css file would make you pages much slimmer, not to mention much easier to edit and maintain!
