    Popular Woodworking DVDs??

Just got a DVD in the mail from Popular Woodworking - title is "Essential Woodworking Techniques". The host is George Vendriska. Says this is the first of a series....

It looks interesting and professionally produced - they want $12.95 for each issue (every 2-3 months). There is little additional info in the package and I can't find anything with Google to tell me what the other titles in the series might be.

Anybody else get one of these? Anybody know any of the other titles? Is it worth signing on for the other DVD's?

    Brian,

I got one in the mail on Thursday. Since I did not order the DVD and it was sent in the mail, you do not have to pay for it. Called Popular Woodworking and said I didn't want any more sent to me. If you pay for the first one, they keep sending you another. The first one is a gift.

    Dvd

Well, I have to admit that I received it, viewed it, and I was very impressed. I am going to pay for mine and ask for more.

The US Post Office mail in our area tends to be a little slow, Dewey. It's just like when all the other guys on the Dungeons & Dragons forum have the latest newsletter and you don't.

Dollars to doughnuts, your DVD will arrive on Monday or Tuesday.

I realize "it's a gift" - what I'm wondering is WHAT are the other titles in the series? I'm debating whether to "go for it" or not - without further information - I'm reluctant to commit to this.

    Pat,
Now you know good and well, the last thing I would be caught playing is D&D. Trying to keep a reputation here on the creek~

No offense to creekers who play D&D.
