    This is what I ended up buying.

    Frued 24-tooth LU87R010 Thin Kerf Ripping Saw Blade for the ripping.



    Freud P410 Premier Fusion 10-Inch 40 Tooth Hi-ATB General Purpose Saw Blade for corss cutting. Since I dont have much cross cutting with the hickory, I figured this would be a good general purpose blade for the saw.



    Thanks for all the input from everybody. I'll let you know how it turns out.

    I have that rip blade in a full kerf version, nice blade. Those will do it right for a long time.
