    Very sad news

So sorry to hear this. I always appreciated what Ken had to say in his posts here at The Creek, and back at The Pond. He will be missed. I didn't know him personally, but it sure looked like he always knew how to have fun in his shop and with his family and friends. A great guy.

I just saw this, wow, I am at a loss. He was quite a fighter. He'll be missed deeply at SMC.

Don't think there's enough good people in this world, and I think we lost one of them, always seemed like the kinda guy you'd want for a neighbor/friend.

    God speed Ken.

I'm very sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I never met him in person, but did correspond via PM with him a number of times. As far as I'm concerned, he set the standard for forum moderation!

    My condolences to his family.

    To Ken's family

We'll miss him as we know you will, but we've both been lucky to know him.

My sympathies to Ken and his family for their loss, never met him but understand by the multiple quotes that he will be dearly missed. May he be in a better place and away from suffering. God bless. Chris Alexander Custom Millworks.

I just heard the news. Ken was a good friend and a great man. When I think of Ken I think of him standing in my shop at the lathe patiently teaching my daughter to turn. I think of him patiently teaching everyone that wanted to learn anything about wood working. He was a great man. One that will be sorely missed by everyone that he touched. His gruff exterior was only a mask for a truly loving and kind man that only a few ever saw. I remember thinking when the Pond closed and Keith started this place that having Ken as a moderator was like the fox guarding the chickens but there was no one better to keep us in line than Ken.

It was a pleasure to know him. He was a man of great integrity and passion. I will miss him very much. I will never stand at the lathe without thinking of him. Rest in peace Grandpa. Rest in peace.
