    Nice work on your bowls Greg! Really like the Koa - mostly because of the grain and small form! Looking forward to seeing your next series of bowls!

    Thanks for all your kind words and encouragement!! You can be sure that I will be turning many more bowls and hollow forms as time goes on. I just received my hollowing tool from Lamar yesterday. And a little birdie told me I'm getting some Thompson bowl gouges for Father's day. (She was a little surprised when they showed up without handles so started asking all sorts of questions about how to make handles. ) Now all I need are some scrapers and I'll be able to do more bowls like that at home rather than having to go borrow someone else's tools.

    Very nice turnings Greg!!!!! I wish my 1st bowls looked that good, but hey, I had to learn the "hard way".
