I picked up a used Mini-max MM16 bandsaw this weekend from a very nice gentleman who was liquidating his shop. He even helped me load and transport the thing. It's about two years old and lightly used. It's the 3.6 hp version which should be plenty for anything I do. It had some surface rust on the table but no bad pitting, and it runs smooth. I got it cleaned up this weekend.
I think I got a pretty good price for it: $1600 delivered and $20 for gas for the guy's truck.
If anyone is interested in a Mini-max SC3W (I think that's the model), he still has it for sale at $3500. He's in Oxnard, CA. It's up on Craigslist.
