    A good day

We had some storms roll through central KY this morning. When I got to work, I found that about half of a large ash tree was on the ground behind my building. By the time I left work, the tree service had it all cut into manageable sizes. I spent 45 minutes picking through the lot and loading the bed of my truck. Got home, band sawed one piece to see what I had - - curly ash. Just got it all sealed, can't wait to get to turning on it this weekend.

    Gotta love Mother Nature.

    I'm green....

I am so jealous. Ash is quite difficult to come by here in Michigan cuz of all the problems with the Emerald Ash Borer. Congrats!

Congrats Jeff! Sounds like beautiful wood - but with no photos... Looking forward to seeing what you turn out of it!
