    Birch HF

    This is some birch I saved from the firewood pile. Most of the tree was curly but not this piece. But it did have a punky spalted strip to give it some interest. 6"x7" buff antique oil.

    Love the form Bob! You're right - that spalted strip adds charactor to the piece! Nice work!

    That's a nice HF with good design, one query is that the natural colour because we don't get that colour Birch over here.

    Yep, That's it natural color. Where do live David? I lived in New Market for 3 years while I was stationed at Raf Lakenheath.

    Hi Bob - I live in a small village called Westcott, Nr Dorking, Surrey. just off the A25 the old main east to west road, prior to the M25 motorway being built.
