Kreg Foreman - Pneumatic or Electric??

With the 10% off ebay and 20% live.com I am probably going to spring for a Kreg Foreman.
I have a good 60gal compressor - 6HP and 14CFM.
Should I go with the pneumatic Kreg Foreman?
The clamp on it looks nicer!

It will stay in my shop and I do not plan on moving it.

Will the pneumatic machine last longer?

Where does all the oil from the oiler/tool go
- will the oil exhast onto my bench?

Anyone use the electric and wish for the pneumatic?

Any reason to go with the electric??

I would want to know about comparative noise levels as well. I have a small, pneumatic right-angle drill that is a real screamer.

Soon as I posted this I saw a $200 forman on CL. Seller has a guy coming on Sunday. After that it is mine. So I guess I have a bit of time to wait before buying new. Please let me know the pros and cons.

We have the air powered Foreman and it is quiet and effective.

Hello there,

I have used both, and I have to say without a doubt, the air Foreman is the way to go.

The electric unit's clamp is attached to the pull arm and travels in proportion to it. It requires fine tuning to work correctly and prevent the panel from moving.

On the air unit, as soon as you pull on the arm, the air clamp is on fully and stays that way until the arm returns back up to top.

In fact, I hope I get far enough on my vanity FF today to fire up my DB55.
