    spalted maple hollow form

This one measures 4x8 with an antique oil finish. The spalting really added a lot to just an ordinary chunk of maple.

Wow Mike - looks like you did it again! Beautiful wood, classic form and the soft finish allows you to see all the spalting without fighting glare. Very nice work! Really like the slanted lip!

Great photos as well! Nice angles and crisp focus!

Nice job! You have complemented the wood's nice spalted figure.

This sure does look the same as the other post but must say the spalting really adds to it. Great looking HF Mike.

    Mike,

    Beautiful as usual.

Do you ever have any ugly pieces? Maybe it would make us mere turning mortals feel better.

Good use of the wonderful spalted stock on that one, Mike. Very nice.

The form is great, and I really like the lip going inwards. Nice job (and nice photos) as usual.
