    Cherry bedroom set (w/pics)

    Good Morning,

I have been slowly getting my act together after the company downsizing/ reorganization from last year. Needless to say I have been busy in the shop finishing up our bedroom set. We had been using second hand stuff for the past 18yrs and wanted things that would match. We also wanted extra large drawers since our previous set had small storage compartments.

All pieces except the bed were made from Michigan Cherry. The bed was made from Penn. Cherry. Finish is oil/ shellac/ wax. Sorry the pics are mediocre.

Some may remember the cherry sleighbed I made last year for our room.

I recently finished LOMLs triple dresser as well. Measurements are 66"x 33" x 20".

Web frame construction with dovetail drawer glides.

    Two nightstands compliment the bed.

And finally a tall chest for myself. This piece measures 40"W x 57-1/2"T x 20"D. Drawers are graduated from 9" on the bottom to 7" on top.

Thsi has been a lot of fun to finally build something for ourselves that didn't involve home demolition/ reconstruction.

    Thanks for viewing

I like the dresser but I really like the bed. Can you point me to a source for the plans for the bed?
