A flute without holes, is not a flute. A donut without a hole, is a Danish.
I have used Danny Proulx's books on cabinet construction. They can be purchased online at places like Amazon or directly from Danny's web site at http://www.cabinetmaking.com. I checked several of his books out from the local library as well.
I have also checked out a book from Jim Tolpin "Building Traditional Kitchen Cabinets" which has a lot of good information.
As usual no affiliation with any of the above.
I second Danny's book...I just got mine last month and will be using it this week to start the big TV/Stereo cabinet job I have going....solid Red Oak!!
Check out also Marc Adams' DVD on cabinetmaking. Good stuff.
I just ordered the book. Thanks, we'll see if I learn aything or not. I am am old dog you know.

The Kreg jig is great for basic cabinets and they have a video. This technique is the fastest I found.

Issue #7 has some really nice cabinets that work great in the shop. I build a bunch of these they really maximize storage.[IMG]WWAH Issue #7
