Old jet - anyone know what this is?

My son and I flew to Landcaster Airport last week and spotted this old jet in a hanger, I suppose under restoration. There was nobody around to ask.... Anyone know what this is?

    Cool photos!

My first thought was the British Tornado or Buccaneer - here's a link to images of a Buccaneer - http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...&ct=image&cd=1

I hope it works. If not, Google Buccaneer Images and choose one of the images at the top of the list.

    Good luck,

    Mitchell,
Do you remember which hangar it was in? It looks a lot like a English Electric Canberra - or the General Dynamics/Martin B57 version. But it looks like the rivets aren't flush on the fuselage?

Looking at it again, the engines are too far from the fuselage on the Canberra.
Now you've got me really curious!

Yeah, after looking at some more pictures of SU-25's that is definitely what it is. Trailing link landing gear, split rudder on the vertical tail, and the "U" shaped antenna on the lower surface of the empanage all match with other pictures I have been looking at. Pretty neat.

    Here is another picture:

Winner... We've got a winner here. Thanks, Clay.

Next time I go to this Airport I'll have to get the story on it.

Good eye Clay! It is a neat little plane - interesting lines. I'll be interested to know how a Czech close air support combat jet ended up in Lancaster!

Wes, you live there... you must know the airport. Perhaps a call to the ops office is in order?
