    healed and back

After having ankle fused and foot rolled back flat to the floor 90 days with no weight on ankle I can stand at the lahte and turn again without a 18 pound brace on one leg. Our local club had challange with cottonwood and the other requirement that it must have another materil added i'am proud to say that I was voted second out of thirty members and if i woulod have voted for myself would have had first but I still think that the other piece was better . It is 16" long 14wide one one end and 8 on the other 1/4 wings and 2 " bowl . The next piece is and oak platter and/or shallow bowl 16" by 1 1/2

Hey congrats Tony. Good to see you are back turning. Those pieces are beautiful.

Welcome back Tony - hope everything is healing fine! Beautiful work! Love the crotch bowl! Amazing grain, feathers and color! Looks like a first place finisher to me! Looking forward to seeing more of your work once you are able to spend more time on the lathe!
