I was wondering if anyone here has a clue as to what the solvent is in paste wax?
This comes up due to the fact that I was digging around in the deepest darkest corners of my shop and found an essentially unused can of Trewax band paste wax that was dried out to almost solid. It is a bit harder than pure beeswax and not sticky at all.
Looking at this, the Scot in me (read cheapskate!) was wondering is it was possible to bring it back to a usable consistency.
Of course the other possibility is that it is not worth doing and I should just chuck the whole thing... hay, Maybe I could bore out a hole and drop a wick into it and call it a woodshop candle?
