I remember them all, so I guess I'm really old. I kept hoping for some to pop up that I didn't remember.

Oh, and there are still drive-ins with car hops, we have one called Burgermaster.

I remember all of those. But I thought they were still around! The lowest gas price I remember is 14.9 a gallon. For the first month I had a car, 1961, my father let me charge gas at the local station; until he got the bill. It was greater than the local plumbing company with 8 trucks!

Stamps at .03 sounds about right.

For the last 8 years I taught high school history and the things the students had never heard of always amazed me. Of course the things they thought everyone knew, and did (used), made me think why would anyone want to do that or be "connected" at all times.

New time, new ideas. But the old ways are the best

I hit about 90 out of 100. Either I'm getting old or my parents (rest their souls) didn't worry about keeping up with the Jones's. I remember the old maytag wringer washer ate my hand plumb up to my armpit once. Believe it or not, I still have one today for greasy shop towels, etc, that I wouldn't dare put into LOML's washer/drier. Still works great but the main tank gasket leaks just a little. Gotta admit I haven't used it in a few years though. It's in storage and I just can't seem to get rid of it. Probably leak like a sieve now. I keep threatening to make a "redneck" planter box out of it, lol.
Been around power equipment all my life and can still count to twenty one nakey

I remember them all. I spent countless hours playing with Lincoln Logs, and American Bricks (not shown on vid). I can't remember having any toys that needed batteries or electricity, except my Lionel train.

    The best of times - '40s & '50s - if you were a kid.

You are old when you remember Uncle Miltie live.
