Wow, that is terrific. What was your finish schedule for it?

Rick, that turned out simply awesome. When are you inviting me over to look at it in person
I am still working on mine, from the Walnut I got from you, I think about a year ago I just need a top coat on the rails and it should be all done. It's quite simplistic compared to this one.
The means by which an end is reached must exemplify the value of the end itself.
thats art worthy of museum
some bed!!!! gorgeous... a family heirloom for sure... enjoy!!!!
I can hardly add to the other comments, Rick, but beautiful job!
It seems the panels vary in size...maybe 3 different widths...but at least 2....
Chris,
Yes, the panels are 3 different sizes. They increase 2" per panel from outside to the center. I felt since the bed is square (king size) that graduated panels would give it a less "squareness" look and give it more interest as someone looks at it.
Thanks for the nice comments.
Rick

Wow. Gorgeous walnut, and the craftsmanship to show it off.
Great work! Do you have plan for the bed?
Rick-
That's inspiring work. Did you also build the side table? Nice match if not.
Thanks, and yes I did the night stands. here is a link to that thread.
