    Add company logo to pen?

Question for commercial penn turners, who do you use to get company logo's for turned pens? This would be small runs of 50 or less at a time so I would assume a setup charge and most likely a small batch charge but is it even feasible?

I like the following kits http://www.pennstateind.com/store/ma...-pen-kits.html but my customer wants to put a logo on them.

Does someone else offer an upscale kit that can have a logo put on it?

BTW I just e-mailed Penn State Industries to see if they have any options and I will post back later this week with what I hear back.

    Thanks,

    Sam

    Also check with Hut Products.

They also do custom logos (or used to). Several types are offered.

If you're doing rollerball-type pens their enameled dome logos are very classy.

Why not seek out a fellow "Creeker" from the laser engraving forum? There's a sticky on the forum that lists engravers willing to do work for others. Find one close to you and send them an I.M. Or just post the request over there.

    Custom Decals

Sam, Testor's has a CLEAR decal paper system which can be printed on in color using a computer inkjet printer. You might want to check that out via Google. You could use light color type on dark wood and dark on light wood. Apparently when you apply a finish over it, the decal edge disappears. This way you could do a very small run and have control over exactly where the logo/words appear.

Jack has the scoop. Go to the IAP (International Association of Penturners) forum and they have a tutorial on crafting decal pens. Lots of detail along with pics to follow. I've done a couple and they are not difficult.

I've done many company logo pens using clear Avery labels. I print the logo on the label, stick the label to a painted pen tube and cast it in Alumilite.
