I'd had to be the guy that says "Hmmm..wonder what this button does" as the last thing on the voice recorder before the crash.
Here's a quick look at the Garmin from my car, in my son's cockpit.
It told us twice to take the entrance ramp onto the NJ Turnpike! LOL!
The second is the cockpit in a Cessna 172SP. The bigger screen is the aviation Garmin.
There is a great book "In the Cockpit" showing plenty of pilot's views.

Hmmm a little more complicated than the Airspeed and needle&ball from the old 65hp champ I last flew Oh ya, it also had a fuel gauge that would bounce between F & E for the whole flight, no heater and 1/2" bent roundstock for the rudder pedals Brakes? ya I think it had brakes
