    Help me choose a chair front... (pics now)

    Hi Everyone,
    This poll is a companion to the Great Morris Chair project.
    Well, I had to screw up to learn again, but here is the stretcher poll promised here (link)

    Thumbs up how it worked out... (with pics)

    Just a quick update:
    The majority voted for the bottom board to become front stretcher of my chair.
    I wiped a bit of mineral spirits on to help show the grain.
    I lost most of the sunray pattern cutting it down to size, but here it is...

    What remains of the thumbprint board after dimensioning, became back stretcher.

    These pattern were much better when the boards were larger. Shucks!
    But more lessons learned...how else can you get them?!?
