    Boat Cradle and Her Crew

Finally, here are a few pictures of Ian David in his boat cradle.

Pepe, now Ian's dog as well as ours seems to like her boy and likes to know that he is safe.

As I type this Ian is about an hour and half from 7 days old. He's doing well and we like having him around. We both figure we were getting too much sleep before he came along anyway.

Kari is doing well, too. She surprised a bunch of her friends at church by going to choir practice last Thursday.

Ian and I got along just fine. Well, until he got hungry.

Tyler's monkey fists are hanging from the splice at the stern of the cradle. Thanks Tyler.

    W O W ! !

I look at my 2+ year old daughter now and find it difficult to remember she used to fit between my hand and elbow quite nicely!

Beautiful...just beautiful. You must be very proud.

    What A Launch!!

    Dave,
CONGRATULATIONS!! What a blessed privilege and comfort it is to know that the First Mate and Crew are doing fine. They are very fortunate to know that their sturdy vessel has been lovingly crafted by a wise, talented and loving Captain. My prayer is that the Admiral of the Cosmos will guide all of you through a long, prosperous and, most of all, HAPPY journey throughout all of the rest of your lives.

Thats great!!!. I had forgot how small newborns are. The couple I made my cradle for just had their baby yesterday, so I'm looking foreward to seeing her pictures in the new cradle.

Congratualtion on some great work. And the cradle looks good too!

Thank you all. I agree, he's a cute kid. Kari and I can't figure out where he got his looks though. He doesn't seem to look like either of us.

I was worried about the cradle swinging side to side but Ian gan gets it going lengthwise when he starts kicking his legs.

I can hardly wait to get him into the shop.
