    Butternut, Walnut & Maple headboard

Finished this a few weeks ago, thought I would post it.
I glued up the boards of butternut and had the inlay pattern cut on a CNC machine. the inlay is walnut and maple. the posts are walnut. It was a fun project and the client is happy with the inlay design - they didn't want anything to feminine or masculine for the headboard, and this basketweave pattern is pretty neutral.

Very kewel, Julie! Neat design and a happy customer. What's not to like about that? Great work.

    Headboard

Has a minimalist, almost Oriental feel to it. I like it!

Very interesting design. The inlays looks far too complicated for me
