Next week I will be ordering a 514X2. I have a number of logs to resaw so I was assuming a 1" Tri-Master. Pricey, but something that will last a long time.

After re-orging the shop to make room for the beast, I discovered some turning blocks that have spalted or matured with great beauty. I'm thinking I want to resaw these into small boards for jewelry boxes and small cabinets.

Would a 3/4" blade be a good general size for this type of work (big logs, small blocks) or would I be better off with the 1"?

Thanks,
Burt
