    Oak Poker Table

Finally got around to posting this. Made it a couple years ago, before I got on the creek. Wood is mostly white oak. I did not make the legs and base, that was ordered and also red oak, but I think it blends nicely. It's a flip top design made from a Rockler plan. Oak was from a tree on my grandparents property that I helped my uncle's take down about 10 years ago. It had been drying in a barn. I would do a few things differently now, but I really do enjoy it. I used dowels to join the 8 different playing position pieces. Other than that not too difficult except for making some big circles with my router and lot's of router chips from making the chip trays. Finish is minwax Red Mahogany stain.

    James,

I don't play poker, but the pics do make me want to ante up. Nice table.
