    African Sumac Textured and Beaded

Of the last batch of bowls I did this is my favorite. It is African Sumac 12x3 with a textured band with beads on both sides of it. The finish is Tried and True original formula (food safe) and it was buffed with just the wax wheel.

    Simply Elegant

    Mike,

I like the deceptively simple lines of this bowl. The beading and texturing add a touch of class without detracting from the elegance of the bowl's shape and the rich, deep, color of the wood. Great bowl. Great job.

David said it all. Beautiful, Mike. Hope someday to get that elegant with some of mine.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the comments.

Scott - I have one of the Sorby beading tools that I use for my beads on bowls. It works very nicely you just have to make sure to sharpen before your final cuts or else you will get tearout.
