    Freud Router Gloat!!

I stopped by my local Lowes to see what their price was on the Freud router plunge and fixed base kit since I knew it was on clearance. Turns out it was marked down to $40!!!!! I couldn't grab it fast enough. I didn't really need another router but how could I pass on it for $40?

Was it a returned or reconditioned unit?

    Tribby,

That deserves a big "you suck". I thought that I had scored a deal when I paid $79.00 for the display model. No case, no wrench, and no 1/4" collet. But for $79.00 I couldn't pass it up.

That's half price of a great deal....making it pretty incredible! I really like that router in my router table. Hope it serves you well!
