    picture of my first two projects on the lathe

    these two pens are my first two projects on the lathe, I can still see a few tool marks but I figured not bad for the first time lathe user. any and all criticisum is apresiated.

    it looks to be oak, the wood blanks that I got were a 5lb grab bag and not the best quality of blanks but none the less they turned out ok.

    Nice job. Wait till you've done 40-50 of them and you'll say, "I made those?" Never give up!
