    Porter Cable 23 Gauge Pin Nails

    For those that have experience with Porter CAble Pin100 Pin Nailer is the nailer tolerate of other brands of pins other then PC? The PC brand is not offered locally only off brands from the box stores.

    Mine uses Grex w/out any problems.
    Rockler has them.
    They run more than PC though.

    I believe Senco and Bostitch 1" and under will also work.

    You can buy PC pins online from Eagle America.
    EA is kind of local to me, so I pick up some whenever I get over that way.

    Re: the "generics" from the borg.
    I've had bad experiences with them in 18ga.
    I had to toss a pack of 5000 of them because they had a slight film of rust on them. It caused a lot of jams.

    Bostitch's work just fine. I get mine at Menards.

    I've run 1" Bostich and and and "off" brand (can't recall the name at the moment) from a local fastener supplier- no issues.
