Talking The door is now closed on the shop build. We passed Final Inspection!!---Fixed Pics

The garage door on the shop/garage has finally been installed. The pictures have been fixed and more have been added below.

In June we started with this...

    A foundation was added.

Tuff shed set up the walls, trusses and roof.

Electrical, insulation and drywall were added to the interior along with the shop lights.

The saga the building permits and the construction of my new shop/garage building met the biggest hurdle. Today we passed final inspection. bassethoundbegging_md_wht.gif The fire department came out and verified that the sprinkler system is operational and the building inspector gave the project his final approval.

Now I only need to finish painting the inside, add some kind of flooring material and it's ready for the tools. The dream is quickly approaching reality.

Be careful applying any paint that may be deemed hazardous under CA guidelines. Would hate to see "them" come in and require you to raze the shop and do an environmental cleanup!!

    Congratulations!!

By the way, I cannot view the attached pics?????

    Congratulations, Don.

And yes, you need to make some adjustments...your pictures are not allowed to display for some reason.

    Thanks Jim.

For some reason I had to upload the pictures to my website and then download them from there.
