    serving tray

I just finished this serving tray for my parents anniversary. I got the plans from woocraft Oct/Nov edition. I made mine from walnut, purple heart and maple. I changed the plans a little as they said to plane the wood to 1/2" then cut 3/4" strips. I planed my wood to 3/4 and cut the strips to 1/2 inch. thought that made more sense and it worked well. Here is the pic.

Excellent work Mike. I'm sure your parents will be proud of the tray and your thoughts toward them.

Very Nice - Much more involved than the trays I built - I love the work!
