beautiful. what is the finish? i like the sapwood elements, but always find it takes on a yellowish tint when i try to include it. yours looks nice and white...

Just poly. My sapwood is so white because I mill the logs, when possible, the day the tree comes down or very shortly thereafter. Soon after milling they go right in the d/h kiln. I do expect them to darken some with age though, but still look cool.
