    Source for Ryobi AP-12 Blades

Anybody know where I can buy replacement blades for my AP-12? I've been looking at all the usual places on line but have not found any. A local tool house told me that the orange borg was the sole retail supplier, which I doubt, but all they carry is 13" blades for the AP-1300. Any help would be appreciated.

Last time I was in my local Cummins tool store I think I saw some, but I don't go there that often. They seem to have a bunch of Ryobi stuff you can't buy anymore.

Give them a call and see if they do, I am sure they could ship them to you.

Jerry...Awhile back I inquired about a dust hood for my AP10 Planer and I sent off an e-mail and got this response.

If you are located East of the Mississippi, please
contact Dixie Sales toll free at 1-877-794-7225. If you are located West of
the Mississippi, please contact Billious toll free at 1-877-245-5468. If
you are a Canadian resident, accessories can be ordered direct from Barrett

You might also try Woodworkers Supply at 1-800-645-9292.

Hope this helps. Rod in Appleton, WA

This may help, when I've done searches on ebay for batteries or a flashlight for my 12 volt Ryobi cordless drill, I often hit auctions for 12 inch Ryobi planer blades.

    Jerry,

Try Jesada, 1-800-531-5559, jesada.com, spk-035, list price $50.90. That seems high as it is the same price as the Delta 22-540 which is the same length but wider (3/4 vs 1/2 and thicker 3/32 vs 1/16). I purchased the Delta planer blades from them some years ago and still have them (sharpen a few times) but seem to remember paying around $30.00 for them (maybe on sale?)

I wrote another post yesterday ("new blades", Mike Stanton) where I went into some blades I purchased locally and another company that sales blades.

    Regards, Joe

Home Depot carries Ryobi tools. If they don't carry the blades you want they can order them. Go to the Hardware department and ask. If the first person doesn't know, ask someone else.

Thanks for all the input. Jesada shows them but then has a disclaimer which says nothing on the page is available . Makes me a little nervous! I think I'll just try the replacement part route. With availability so sparse, I'm thinking a DW 734 might be on the horizon.

I have a current number for ryobi replacement parts. I will look it up tomorrow and post it here for you. Just called last week and got a current number.

current phone number for ryobi as promissed

1-877-245-5468. This is the number that was given to me when I called to order a part. I asked the person that I was speaking to for this number to avoid the maze that I went through this time in the event I should need to call again. Hope this helps.
