We are obviously over the one million mark. The winner can only be announced by our System Adminstrator Aaron Koehl as he must query our database and deduct the deleted posts from the total then backtrack to the post that put us over the top. Aaron goes to church on Sunday morning so it will probably be tomorrow afternoon before he announces the winner.

....and the 1,000,000th active post is:As of today we have 979,990 posts here at The Creek since February 11th, 2003. We are averaging between 800 to 1000 posts per day so it looks like we will see our one millionth post before the end of 2008 or shortly thereafter.
Clearly a celebration will be in order, I wonder who will make the one millionth post here? If it is you you will have some kind of prize coming to you and this includes our Moderators, everyone is eligible, you just have to click the submit button at the right time
