    Ebony baron

    Not bad considering I had to disassemble it because I forgot to put the insert in !

    There is no finish other than sanding all the way to 12K

    Good job! Glad it worked out having to take it apart and all, looks great!!

    Thanks. I can't believe I forgot to add the threaded insert. Helps the pen cap stay on for sure.


    Now to see if it splits on me. Tries gorilla glue to see if it helps

    Nicely done Keith. Yes many people have tried to keep ebony from splitting after finished. I think it has happened with all kinds of top coats so maybe you have the answer and not apply one. Time will tell. It sure does look great.
