    Xmas Gifts For Family and Friends

    Three years ago it was pens, two years ago it was wine stoppers, and last year it was bird house ornaments. Everyone has said how much they look forward to what I am making them for Christmas. Well this year it is (drum roll please).........




    Pepper mills!!!!!!

    I have made about 20, and have 10 more to make (list gets larger each year ). Plus some of my family are also getting matching salt shakers.

    Here a run of cherry and hard maple getting ready to be buffed:

    Wow! Beautiful mills Jim! Cherry and curly maple are two of my favorite woods because they just keep getting better with time. The cherry darkens and the curly always fascinates folks with the way it plays with light! Going to be some real happy people who gets these as gifts! Very nice work!
