Yes, I have the clamp. I am going to poly the bottom of the drum when I find some time, I have three projects going that I need to get finished plus my usual estimates to get done.

Matt & Jeff, as I stated in my post, Oneida did send me a new drum and lid. What are the odds that I got two leaky drums when none of their other customers are having the problem. I coated the first...
My main starts out as 6" spiral pipe then drops to 5". The drops to the machines are 4". Oneida says an air leak is the only thing that can deform the gripper (see my picture). Is that true? Why...
Ken, one of the experiments we did was to put a large trash bag over the whole drum (with gripper and bag over the edge) and tied it off with tape at the top to see if the leak would pull the outside...
The Bag Gripper is just a round plastic sheet that prevents the cyclone from sucking the bag up into the fan. As you can see my gripper is super deformed. I can not find an air leak.264890
Mike, I have played with opening more gates, but that seems to just reduce the suction. I can easily run two 4 inch gates open and usually have the jointer (4") and the tablesaw (4") and blade guard...
Ryan, yes, as I wrote in my post, it only leaks when the bag is wrapped over the lip of the drum. If the bag stays in the drum, the gripper is fine but it makes a mess trying to get the bag out to...
Jon, that was one of the first things Oneida had me try. I could not find any kind of a leak. But the shop smelled better.
Jim, I have wrapped the hose connections at the drum with silver HVAC tape but the only time I get a leak is when I use a bag in the drum and fold it over the lip of the drum.
Some of you may have read my posts over on Woodnet concerning my Oneida V3000 cyclone that I installed in January. It super deforms the bag gripper in the drum. Oneida sent me a new drum and lid and...
