Hi Russell
The Domino is great and I wouldn't be without mine but I admit that the Festool's that I can't do without are the Rotex and vac combo.

hey Mark
Don't worry about how it looks compared to how it preforms. Run a board through it , I'm guessing that you'll like it anyway. Nice score!!!!!!!!

Ditto to what Randy is saying. I've notice these scallops when I try to take too little off the last pass. It still is nothing to remove with the drum sander or ros.

Hi Mike
I have the Jet floor model and would highly recommend it. Use some kind of dust collection, they generate a lot of that. The extra weight and the ability to run a 4" drum is why I...
Hi James
What ever clamps that you have will get you started and as you go you will probably add more of a variety in the selection. I like the parallel design of the Bessy and Jet clamps but...

All bandsaw blades are made to do certain tasks and as you have found out cutting wet wood is one of the most stressful on a blade as Jim has stated. I'm still searching for the perfect...
Hi Jim
Here is a link for Amana I think this is what your looking for unless you want something more traditional.

Sorry Chris I don't buy that. I have mine on a PM moble base that is designed for the DDS about 165 extra but worth it . Also I have a 12x16 shop that is full. :p
Tom
Hi Chris
I have the PM DDS-225 it's a beast and it has done whatever i have needed it to do. If the 25" will not limit you I will highly recommend it . The paper is wrapped and 4" works best.

Adam it's always great to see what"s inside when you cut up a log. I have milled several and though not all have yielded great boards there have been many beautiful ones that would have been lost to...
extreme table Dave. Nice contrast and design . I'm sure all your hard work will be appreciated.

PS: my Domino got workout on some louvered doors this weekend.. Great tool !!!
Jim
I think that Bosch makes some great tools so I can't see why their 1/2 sheet sander would be any different. The comment that I wanted to make is how much I have improved my sanding by using...
:DHere's something I finished for the LOML today. Her Idea's and I have to admit it works.:o It's holds her Betty Lukins Bible Felt for our school..
Looks like a simple cabinet on wheels to me...
Hi James
sent you a PM.

I use the Jet floor model almost always with the 4" drum. If I do need to sand a tighter curve it is not hard to change to a smaller one. I also like the large table. It is on a mobile base...

very nice gloat. I have had the shorter version for years and it has served me well.

Hi Don
I have the RO150 and just got the RS2E they are a great combo for just about anything I can imagine. My next choice will probably be a 150/3. I got the CT-33 along with the sander and it...
Jay I have the model of Jet DC the your asking about. I couldn't imagine it without a remote or the canister. It has done a fine job for a portable collector. The only thing is the CFM ratings on...
80 - 100 works for me . I finish sand with my hand held sanders. Dust is a big issue with these sanders . I need help in this area also.

New to me this past week. I have used it on two small and one larger project . Great tool , if it has anything not too like to me it would have to be the metric scale but I got a dedicated rule for...
Your gonna love the RS2E.. Great score!!!:)
Tom
I thought that sheet sanders were ancient until I used this one. I always have used ROS's and belt sanders but the 1/2 sheet sander has brought me a whole new perspective to sanding flat pieces.

I saw one at the woodworking show this year. I'm a big fan of my Laguna bandsaw but I would pass on the new Laguna saws if a uni saw or PM 66 was in the race. It was very nice but I think the...
I got a chance to use some of the new tools this weekend.
the Domino is a definite winner along with the CT33 but the real "glad I bought it " surprise came from the RS2E sander. It is as vibration...
Concerning dual drums I have found it to be quite useful on my PM DDS-225. 80g on the front and 100g on the rear. It's not any harder too change the paper on two than it is one.
