Yes, you can engage the lock without raising the router but it's going to be awkward when mounted in a table. Assuming that the layout of the new 3.25hp router is similar to the smaller version, you...
This Festool blade chart will give you both Festool and Bosch equivalents for your application. I have used both the S74/4K and S50/1,4K with good results in 3/4" stock.
Festool Jigsaw blade...
I haven't actually seen the new, upgraded version but I expect it works like its predecessors. Turn off power and raise it up until the spindle lock engages.
We had a guy on another board who went for the TS75 against most everyone's recommendations and after a couple of days with it he returned it for the TS55. The TS75 is undoubtedly a good saw but it...
Yea, sorry. I was thinking that the 12/20 was the mini.
Karl, I think the ZCI helps improve the cut on just about any material which is why I use them.
I've made and used ZCI's of MDF, birch plywood and phenolic and I've settled on plywood as my #1 and phenolic as #2.
I use the Microjig MJ Steel PRO splitter much of the time and MDF just doesn't...
There have been threads on this subject and a quick Google returned this.

Tom, Microjig now sells 1/8" legs....at the woodworking shows I think. I've got a couple coming and I'll report on them once I get them.
Gary, great execution.
Jason, thanks for the reply. I too have a HD DVR (Dish Network VIP 622) which puts out a ton of heat and will shut down if it gets too hot. I plan on using something like this temperature...
Jason,
Absolutely gorgeous.
My next project is a cabinet stand for my RPTV and what I'm struggling with is heat.
Like your design mine is going to be enclosed in the front with a remote...
Anyone interested in Festool should ocassionally visit the Festool Owners Group site for the latest poop, mose of us have been stocking up for the last month in anticipation :)
Should have been around a couple of months ago...I think we're all talked out and people are just waiting for their machines now :)
Festool shippng has always been pretty quick in my experience. I just hope all you guys getting Dominos dont slow up my receiving my second MFT, I'm only home for a few days next week in order to...
John,
Did you get your answer? The answer is sure, if you're not careful the Domino can move. I've seen it move a bit when plunging quickly into hardwood before I was really ready to plunge and...
Joe,
If you mean the Uni Guard splitter, This may help.
Greg,
I have that one but I'm not home till the weekend. I would recommend you purchase that book as there are many good plans in it including his Euro style bench. worth the used price IMO.
Dennis,
That's what I meant. I actually learned more metric working with the Domino than any other tool I've used in the past.
My personal opinion is that I'd prefer imperial myself....While metric isn't "hard" I just haven't set my mind to memorizing the cross reference between my standard imperial measurements and...
Hi folks,
I just completed my review of the Domino. You can read it at

Comments and questions welcome.
I deal with this problem spring, summer and fall every year and I've got plenty of rust spotted machines and hand tools. For the machines the only thing that works in my shop is T9, a towel and a...
Great idea Dave. Here's another idea. I'm not a pro so take this with a grain of salt but setting the OF1400 on its rail in this fashion provides me with all the stability I need. allows the router...
Dave,
I think your feelings about the router are in line with what a lot of folks first think about it. It is expensive and at first glance, it doesn't seem to offer much of an improvement over...
Rick,
Did you make that insert? Why the holes along the sides of the kerf?
