I have a Ridgid 12" miter saw and I'm very happy with it. I came with a blade and laser line. The blade wasn't great but it is accurate and the price was right.
The worksharp is super easy to use for chisels and lathe tools. It gets a little trickier with blades that are sharpened on both sides but this machine will get the tool scary sharp.
I love mine and it's very easy to use. I highly recommend it. Don't forget the leather hone.
