For filling knots, I use finally ground coffee. It helps make the grain wake up. :)

I looked on the MDS sheet for this stuff wondering if it had linseed oil in it. Which it doesn't reveal.
I've been told that linseed is the underlying substance with this problem. Anyone?

Mine is vented outside and I like it. It's not what I would call noisy outside. No accumulation of fines.
As other's have mentioned, the downside is bringing in hot or cold air.

I built mine using a 6-inch Harbor Freight (true story) bench buffer. It was an easy job to flip the base so the rotation was backwards.

My first reaction was acetone. It dissolves silicone. But of course it will probably weld the PVC together...

I had one. It was persnickety to say the least. They are slow and will only semi-accurately cut about 3' x 4'.
I sold it and put together a Lowrider2 which I really like.
