Several years ago I started doing that for my wife. Not big gifts but every month something - a CD, small flower arrangement, a book. Some reason I stopped. I need to get going again. It made her...
I thought there was something familiar about that shape. Thanks. :D
What an ingenuous idea. A movable t-track held in place by a permanent t-track. Who'd a thunk it. :D
Great idea, Bill.
Very nice work.
Good suggestions on the fix and now a question. That is an unusual shape for a spilled liquid. Any back story here?
After 35 1/2 years with the same company, on Feb. 1, I am going to retire. I have a lot on my list that I want to do. As I have told some friends, I may not do everything I hope to do, but I'm not...
That is a good thing to know. Thanks.
This is not a problem for me but now I'm curious. I don't see a down arrow to the left of the title?
When I first read your OP the 5 cut method was the first thing in my mind. Try it - low cost and could solve problem or eliminate a potential source.
That is really nice. Well executed. Love G&G.
You've inspired me to try some small boxes. I also watched some more of your videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them.
I made a "decent" sized blanket chest but don't remember exact size right now. Solid cherry top only reguired 2 hinges per Rockler's calculator. I would guess the lid was in the nieghborhood of...

Your post count is low so you may not have heard: NO PICS, DIDN'T HAPPEN. :D
Here's my thinking - if you paint the interior, in a few years the boys are gonna outgrow it and your SO might want to repurpose it. She'll look inside and see all the scratches, nicks, and chips...
Right on the money. ^^^^^^ There are ways to get by without a jointer but life is too short to live with work-arounds. If you don't want to use hand planes, I suggest you take Dad up on his offer...
OK, the 6/9 makes since with the inversion of the number. But maybe I'm dense - what makes 7/13 easy to remember?
Without trying to find out what happened, I would say this is a pretty heavy handed response.
All good suggestions for you. If you have never had a band saw before or don't know what the riser block will do for you, it basically increases the width of th board you will be able to resaw. ...
They appear to be twins and I have heard and read that some twins develop their own language that only they understand. Looks like these guys have. And the one with his back to the camera really...

I have a Ryobi and it seems fine. If I were starting new or replacing, I would go with the DeWalt. I read a lot about them a couple of months ago and would have to review it to make up my mind...
I think it would be fine.
Bill Rhodus - thanks for some great info for anyone considering a project of SYP. I love Sawmill Creek. :D
I tend to follow Bil's method. I look at something like a charging station and think: "that's OK but my xxxxx is not exactly like that so if I change A or B, it will work."
