The leg is still over sized anyway so I'll shave them down to clean them up and resaw. Paying attention to the grain direction
I've never really worked with Walnut before.
One of the legs on my walnut table looks pretty bad.
1. How should I go about filling the seam down the middle?

i tried to make a mobile base for my GO555X and failed. So I picked up the shop fox base for $53. Four decent wheels will run you $20 - 30. Looking back, it wasn't worth it for me.

I started building several mobile bases and ordered the Shop Fox base for my BS. I'm seriously considering moving my hot water tank. One possibility is directly across to the other...
Have you considered plywood for the walls instead of drywall? Only slightly more expensive but you can screw into it anywhere you want for light brackets, shelves, hangers etc
I moved the DC next to the furnace and I'm now planning on building some lumber racks and bins under the stairs.
