Thanks all, will try some of the proposed options!
OK, trying to make a 2" diam. pocket, 4" deep, in the some thick concrete for a railing post. Going to use a 2" diamond core drill, but then how to hollow out the rest? My initial thought was to...
If not super critical in looks, just prep and use cold galvanizing paint. Spray or brush

Time for a reformat and reinstall? Nuclear option, but sometimes needed! Esp. if the PC/install is old.
None of them seem to want to deal. They are all more setup to churn accounts. Bonuses for creating "new" accounts it seems. You have to bounce between satellite, cable, and FIOS if you can get it....
Anyone try this? Seems gimmicky, but for the right application could be cool.

Yes, I guess they can be a bit more "stiff", but I actually like a crispy crust vs a "tender/flaky" crust. To me a standard cut-in crust, even when not soggy, still taste/mouthfeel like it.
I...
Due to watching UK cooking shows, I've discovered the wonders of a HOT WATER crust! Couldn't be easier. Melt butter, lard, salt, water, etc., mix hot into flour. Roll out, if you feel like it,...
Just me, but I would have cut them back at a slight angle. Would give it a "softer" more interesting line.
HOLY CARP!!
Finally got around to checking the switch outlet and sure enough all the wires leading to the switch were dead, switch itself seemed OK. Pulled the switch out of the box and came...
I've looked into cutting the cord several times, even built a HTPC to get started. Since I like too many TV channels/shows, it never seems to work out. You either live without, or have to keep...
Ummm, YES there was no bracket under the cover. It was hung by an extension tube via ball joint to the actual decorative cover plate. I had it loose. I know. Was unlike any other fan or light...
During the actual roasting process, it does smell pretty noxious. And will set off smoke detectors if done indoors. As for chaff, every origin of beans is different, and can be better/worse based...
I still don't understand how the wire could pick up inductance voltage. There was NOTHING else powered on in the room. The fan light switch was on, but the fan was switched off. In essence, no...
Another Baratza user. Virtuoso.
As far as static, ANY grinder with a plastic cup will likely have static. Supposedly ones with borosilicate glass do better with that.
Was adding a light fixture to a ceiling fan. What should be a simple "connect white & black wire" effort is not working! There's a TON of wires of all different colors inside the fan housing. Most...
I don't believe in the "Texas crutch" method. Covering to essentially steam them. You lose some of the "bark" you worked hard for. Also, no need to use super low/slow w/ ribs. Save that for...
So far still running fine. AC can't seem to keep up though in the high heat. Can't get it below 72
I replaced it with a Honeywell programmable. Pretty much copied the wire colors over, set the program, and it kicked on! Had to leave, so not sure if it kicked off too soon like before. We'll see.
Thanks, changed the batteries, but still acting the same. Old batteries were a bit corroded but not too bad. I'll try the cheap thermostat next.
It's 90+ here! I've re-done all the program temps to 68 AND set the "hold" temp to 68 also. The AC, when it does kick on, seems to only run for a few minutes and then kicks itself out of the hold...
A decent not overly expensive, yet highly rated gas grill is the Broil King brand. Can be found at Lowes.
Go here for review of ALL sorts. Great resource for ANYTHING grilling/BBQ related.

I have a plug-in impact wrench which works pretty well. At times though I don't think it has the guts to break the lugs free. My procedure it to initially "crack" the lugs free on the ground with a...
I second Tirerack. I don't believe Michelins are worth the price. I run whatever gets good reviews. I've used Bridgestones, Dunlops, Conti's, you name it. Recently bought some very cheap...
Same here. Like mine. My Ophthalmologist was not thrilled with them, but I went ahead as the newer tech is supposed to be much better. Took a bit longer to get over the fish bowl/dizziness effect...
