Actually I think I did say exactly that.... except that instead of "goodbye etc" I closed with, "... go ahead and buy it there and God bless you." :-D

If I avoided all the places with whose politics I disagree, I'd starve, not have any clothes, nor any utilities, not ever buy a car, and certainly wouldn't be able to engage in 90% of my interests....

Not difficult at all to find.... budget busting, yes, but I use a half dozen vendors, mostly Hobby stores both Brick n Mortar and online .
Mfr: (my bad... K&S Metals not K&S Engineering) ...
Did you get any ridiculous "Low ball" offers?
I was selling rigid copper tubes (not "tubing") Made by K&S, I think it was 3/16 x 36", maybe a half dozen pieces.
Backstory (so to speak): Hobby-ists (Model RR, Rocketry, Robotics, Steampunkers)...

I'm glad for all of you that have had postive experiences with the VA doctors and/or hospitals.
You try to use the VA here in Phoenix (and maybe the rest of AZ but not sure about that)....you'll...
I don't do cheap bits... 99% are Whiteside with a few Freuds thrown in for color :D.
But some could use sharpening....will have to get on that.
Roger dodger... Route first, then cut.
Thank you, Darrell and John.
Making a small picture frame from walnut, square with mitered corners.
Should I assemble the frame and then route the profile or route the piece of walnut first, (profile and rabbet), then cut...

I can think of a few...
Public flogging, stocks, T and F... you get the idea.
Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Town mouse and country mouse facing off, almost come to blows! :D
If there is no phone call I conclude that the "person" is a bot of some sort, especially if their initial inquiry is stated "Is the item still available?" not "Is the plutonium still available?" ...
My future DP (soon!) : "JT33 keyed drill chuck is fitted to the MT #2 spindle taper"
My future integrated chuck/arbor

You misunderstand.... I am the seller, (not the buyer)
I get an email (via CL) from someone who [apparently] is interested in something I'm selling.
They typically ask if the item is still...
This is pretty much my CL approach.
First reply (by me) is via CL where I ask for a phone number and also explicitly state "No texts".
Then I wait... 2/3 of the time no phone number is...
I've been using Fuller brad points for a few years now (with the subpar chuck on the craftsman). No use making things worse by using sub par bits too.
And I have a mix of Fisch, Freud, and Colt...
Oh, it's costing me almost 3 times as much as I paid for my little craftsman 1/2 HP Benchtop DP at least 20 years ago.
But I am currently upgrading, so the price of the shank w/chuck is about half...
Thank you Rush.... "Three's a charm" (endorsements :))
Wow. That is beautiful.
All those different shades of green .... looks like Ireland.
Thank you Kent.
btw I am making my DP table, incorporating some of the "features" you have on yours.
Round sacr. insert, for one.... w/ center offset about 1/2" .
ALso 2 layer BB ply, not quite...
Got the first one .
Second one is a keeper .. it's great :D
Good to know... thank you :)
