In the future, watch out when you update Java. They usually throw on the Yahoo toolbar as part of the Java install package. There is a check box to remove it when following the install prompts, but...

Download Mozilla Firefox, it is a much better browser than IE. I have been using it for years and I will never go back to IE. Oh yeah, it's free!

I know that the polybutylene is a joke, as for the manifold, i don't know. I would say that Pex is the way to go.
Interesting, i've thought about doing the same with my Grizzly (1 hp motor). let us know how it turns out.
Get the temporary kind, it is plenty strong.

I recently got a new Grizzly G0555 band saw from craigslist. It was already assembeld when I picked it up. The question that I have is concerning the fence. The rip fence seems to be installed...
Very nice! How do you like the incra fence? I have been looking at one myself.

I have the Delta 50-850 (which is a 1 1/2 HP) and it works very well. I run 4" flexible hose to a table saw, jointer, planer, router table, and band saw. I have not had any issues with the DC lacking...
I had similar issues when using my Rockler jig. I started using blue painters tape on both faces of the board and have not had any issues since. I still use a backer board, but i use MDF.
You could also use a straightedge and router with a flush trim bit. I would not use a jointer.
Just wanted to see if anyone has purchased the new Rockler FX router lift. I was thinking about picking one up and wanted to hear some thoughts.

I have a friend who would like me to make him some floating shelves. I have done these before, but his are considerably larger than i expected. I was thinking of using steel rods drilled into the...
Hey everyone! I'm looking for a zero clearence insert for my table saw like the one that Norm uses. If you are not familiar with it, it's metal with adjusting screws and has removable inserts that...
I was most disappointed with the removal of WoodWorks. My wife (in all her wisdom) decided last month to delete all the episodes I had saved on the DVR. Now what am I supposed to do?! :(
Hey all, I recently bought a few old planes that need to be cleaned up. Just wanted some suggestions on removing the rust and general clean-up. I would like to preserve the jappaning on the planes....
Thanx for the advice everyone!
I recently picked up my first lathe. It is an old Craftsman that my brother-in-law gave me. It's 36" long with a 6" swing. It came with 3 tool rests, several face plates and a set of tools (Craftsman...
I have the same model you are looking at and it is a good machine. I would say pick it up as it's a good deal. The only con with the machine I have found is the length. It gets a little difficult to...
Try gluing the 1/8" strips together first, then lay it down on your substrate. This has worked for me.
