+1 on Grizzly. Has served my needs every time. Although the price today is about $200 more than what I paid for it about 18 months ago.

That's exactly what I did; used Bill's plans when I built mine. I created a baffle with a cutout just large enough for the router to pass through. So now I have two 4" ports collecting dust; one on...
Just my .02 cents, but when I built mine, I went for "larger". I guess it pretty much depends on what you'll be using the surface for most. For me, it was for making panel doors and doing pattern...
I've purchased clear hose with the wire from three different companies: Onieda, Woodcraft and KenCraft Company. I've been very pleased with all with no problems.
Bill,
How true you are my friend! I just did this same thing about a month ago as I too had to replace the pad and I could not believe how much dust came out of there. It almost seemed like when...
In one word - AMEN!
Let me scream out loud from the land of mostly SYP and be the fourth person to say........... YOU "REALLY" SUCK!!!
Nice score Jim! Something tells me you'll be in the shop until the weeeeeeeeeeeeee hours of the morning with that new piece of machinery;)
Like everyone else said, it's a great router...I have 3 of them, although one I use primarily in my router table:)
I 110% agree with what everyone else on here said Brett. It IS the sellers responsibility to file the claim and waiting just makes it worse. While I realize (completely) how hard it is to receive...
Here's the one I built from the plans/video from FWW a while back. Works great!

There are no words to describe how I feel about what he's doing other than the obvious ones.................
Tim,
I actually found a design that works absolutely PERFECT for standard CMS; SCMS would require the design to be altered a bit, but should still be do-able. Unfortunately, SMC's terms of...
Congrats Jim! You'll definitely LOVE that saw:) I have the Grizzly G0513P and absolutely love it and remember being so excited knowing it was on its way to the workshop! Can't wait to see the...
Mine was a Craftsman 10 inch RAS with laser which I paid $200 bucks for in Atlanta! Was practically brand new!!! Couldn't pass this one up:D

I used it recently on my router table cabinet and it worked VERY well. Agree with Van in that I wouldn't use it on bare rock. I did use two coats, as it seemed one just wasn't perfect enough for...
James,
I too dropped to the right side of my saw. It's really not a problem for me as its still far enough away to rip plywood, but don't crosscut anything that long that would interfere....
Now THAT'S impressive! Great job Nicholas - can't wait to see what you crank out on that mill!!!
Randy
Thanks ian. That's an interesting concept I never thought about. Although I would probably just build another just like it to give me reason the be in the shop:D
Thanks Carl - take it from me, do it sooner than later! ;)
Thanks Glenn! That's exactly what I try to do also each time. Although, I can honestly say that I am now "officially" out of floor space for anymore floor standing tools. Oh well, creativity will...
Thanks Don!
+1 here. Hit the nail on the head I believe...
Thanks Phil! I don't know HOW I went this long without one of these:)
Thanks Van. Yeah, I went back and forth on where to place the switch. I really didn't want that thing hanging off the top or just flush mounted to the carcass since it's pretty thick in depth, so I...
