A mag starter doesn't guarantee that it's three phase. It just means it's 3 to 5 hp. My single phase PM 66 has a mag starter. I would say it's true unisaw and not the hybrid.

Been buying from industrial abrasives for 30 years. They can recommend types of belts for sanding needs. They also have the lowest minimum for custom belts. Don't buy more than a years worth of...

There are plenty out there. 1 to 2 hp is plenty. 3 hp is overkill. My 16" Oliver had 3 hp. In my 40 years of preparing and turning...
If it's like the Chang iron planer that I've worked on it most certainly does have a pressure bar. It's not a four poster. The pressure bar certainly describes the problem he's having with his...
That link I posted is going to be as close to a manual you are going to find. If you look closely you can see how to loosen, tighten and adjust the parts.
I can honestly say I'm an expert. I...
I think the pressure bar is set wrong in relation to the cutting circle. You are focusing on the wrong thing. You need to go through all the settings and adjust accordingly. That is a good...
It's a Franken plane. The original base got broken and he made a new one and used the leftover parts to complete. Might have been a pattern maker with access to a foundry. Good chance its actually...
Edge gluing is plenty strong enough if you get good edges. In 40 years ive never used anything except butt joints. Even the factories and custom shops did butt joints. I used curved cauls to keep...
Use loose tenons. The multi router is based on the slot mortiser from Europe. It would take an American to take something real simple and turn into a complicated mess.

Sears Park planers were sold with a 1750 rpm motor and the cutter head speed was listed around 4000 to 4500 rpm.
You will need a block plane or chisel to smooth your test spot. There is a limit on surface penetration for pinless meters. For timber we use 2" pins and pre drill holes for the pins.
Systainer would a copyrighted name.
A left-handed drillbit isn't gonna make a difference at all. It will just drill the hole in reverse. You will still need to use an EZ out.
A rare earth magnet isn't going to do it. The tip broke off because it got twisted so it's wedged in there and won't come out.
You need to get a carbide drill bit. One time I had to drill 20 torx screws for the same thing that happened to you. They do make better torx bits as well. ...

mcmaster.com has knobs with specs on them.
Don't buy too many belts at a time. They typically have a shelf life of a year. The joint will fail.
This has been covered several times on the pro-forums on the www.woodweb.com
Some manufacturers will sell it without the motor but it will cost more than with motor. It becomes a custom order ! Probably change the warranty as well.
